PAWS Book Club

Members of our “Paws Book Club” were chosen for being role model students and for working hard daily. Those in our book club will be able to participate in enriching novel studies during the fall semester. We will be reading the following novels: Sarah Plain and Tall,  Stuart Little, Flat Stanley’s Worldwide Adventure, and Big Friendly Giant.

Our book club will meet every Friday during intervention time in order to discuss our progress in reading and to be able to hold in depth conversations about our findings in each chapter. We will also hold 4 after school meetings so that we can work on hands-on projects that correspond with each novel.

Based on grade level standards, the goal of our book club is to enrich reading skills and connections to literature while engaging in meaningful book discussions.
